So I just put some music from the Rocky soundtrack onto my Ipod in hopes that it would motivate me while I am working out. Yesterday I realized I have been singing the wrong words FOREVER. Here is what I thought the lyrics were:

Its the cream of the crop

sticks his head in the night
and these words he will always be heard

Actual words:
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival

Stalks his prey in the night

With the eye of the tiger
Embarrassing, I know.

Okay that is HILARIOUS! Funny that almost everything was wrong :-) That song takes me back to like the 6th grade when I did a dance to that song in my dance class. Funny!
A favorite family joke is Michael's sister sings, "Hold me closer Tony Danza" instead of "Hold me closer tiny dancer".

It really is very strange to realize the REAL lyrics to songs. Chelise always though "Highway to the Danger Zone" was saying "Highway to the Tank-ta-tone". Didn't she ever stop to wonder what a tanktatone was? Weird.
How many times do I sing the wrong words? That's awesome. One thing I love about you--you admit it!
hey. I completely understand. I sing the wrong words all the time, and when I finally realize what the REAL words are, I wonder how it is that I accepted such dumb lyrics to begin with. The real question is...do the "new" lyrics pump you up like you hoped. :) If not, just keep on singing about the "cream of the crop" girl!
