I got a message on my phone a couple days ago from the receptionist at my doctor's office. This is what the message said.
Hi Rosemay, I'm calling from Dr. X's office regarding your appointment on Thursday. I just had a quick question about the reason for you coming in...it seems as though you are coming in for an OB appointment and we aren't quite sure if this is accurate, so if you could call us back, that would be great.
Innocent enough, until I called back. Here is our conversation verbatim.
Me: Hi this is Rosemay Webster returning your phone call. You mentioned in your message that you had some questions regarding my appointment?
Rec: Oh, hi, yes. Our records indicate that you are coming in for an OB appointment, but it looks as if you should have had your baby a long time ago.
Me: What?
Rec: It looks like you should have had your baby a long time ago.
Me: Um.... (momentary silence, mostly because I wasn't sure if this was a real question or not) I had my baby in 2007...so......
Rec: Oh, so this is for a different pregnancy?
Me: Yeeeah.....
Rec: Oh, okay well that would explain why we are so confused. Thanks. I'll write that in my records and see you on Thursday.
Me: Riiight....
C'mon, could someone really be that dense? Is it possible to think that I was pregnant in 2007 and that I may STILL be pregnant? Really? Really! I'm still baffled, even as I write this. Maybe I should find a new doctor.

Don't forget the lyrics

So I just put some music from the Rocky soundtrack onto my Ipod in hopes that it would motivate me while I am working out. Yesterday I realized I have been singing the wrong words FOREVER. Here is what I thought the lyrics were:
Its the eye of the tiger,
Its the cream of the crop
Rising up to the challenge of our fathers,
and the last known survivor
sticks his head in the night
and these words he will always be heard
Eye of the Tiger
Actual words:
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all
With the eye of the tiger
Embarrassing, I know.
