After MONTHS of struggling with this kid to get him to understand consequences to his actions, he finally surprised me a couple days ago. Let me set the scene for you.
I was bogged down at work that day, and when I finally did get home (3 hours later than anticipated), I was in a mad rush to get things done. I had to make dinner, feed Josiah, and take Naisha to mutual all within 15 minutes. In my haste, I neglected to put the lid onto Josiah's sippy cup. Well, as you can guess, he accidently spilled his milk all over me and the table. He must have seen the disappointment on my face (and possibly heard the swearing under my breath) because all of a sudden he looked at me and said ( in his little high pitched voice) "Sowy Mama". It was the first time he had ever said sorry without being forced or coerced and it was the cutest thing. For the first time I recognized that maybe he does pick up on what we attempt to teach him. It may not sound like alot, but it brightened my day and I didn't even mind running around town with spilled milk on my skirt.

Oh I wish we could visit and see you. I miss you. That was so sweet. But I refer you to Chalonn's most resent post to put spilled milk in perspective. We love you!
Love you Rosie! Thanks for sharing such a sweet moment.
